Global industrialisation and the growth of world population have placed extreme pressure on the availability of natural resources and the condition of the environment. Scomi Oiltools supplies and operates equipment that is designed to reduce and control the emissions of harmful wastes into the environment.

Both lead and lag QHSE performance indicators are regularly updated and these Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are utilised by the group to monitor performance, target locations for improvement opportunities and benchmark ourselves both internally and against industry.
Scomi Oiltools also utilises the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) management system to further enhance continual improvement and maintain focus on the corporate vision and objectives.

Customer Satisfaction
Scomi Oiltools continually strives to improve performance and has received numerous awards and letters of commendation from customers, governments and industry bodies in recognition of achieving service excellence in the areas of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Performance.
Both internal and external customers contribute to ongoing feedback which is then reviewed and used to enhance QHSE performance and continually improve services, processes and equipment within the group.
Certification
Scomi Oiltools’ parent company, Scomi Group Bhd is an ISO 9001-2000 certified company and its commitment to continual improvement is verified by third party auditing. Where possible all its business units, subsidiaries and joint venture partners are required to maintain certifications to either ISO 9001-2000, ISO 14001 or 18001 depending on Process requirements and or Risk identification reviews.
